J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to lead transportation, municipal, and civil infrastructure projects. You will apply advanced surveying techniques, manage projects, mentor staff, and collaborate with engineers across offices.

The role demands an Idaho PLS or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months, 8–15+ years of experience, and strong client relationships. Travel to sites and offices is required.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho PLS license or ability to obtain Idaho licensure within 6 months.
• 8–15+ years of survey experience with project management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Experience managing multiple complex survey projects with scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Strong mentoring, coordination, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide survey project management duties with office teams and field crews.
• Mentor survey staff and support technical staff development.
• Coordinate with field crew manager and project teams.
• Assist with proposals, scope development, labor estimates, scheduling, and closeout.
• Prepare boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS surveys and related documents.
• Review legal descriptions for properties and rights-of-way.
• Utilize Civil 3D and Trimble software to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers across offices.
• Assist with client relationships, meetings, and business development.
• Represent the company professionally to agencies and clients.
• Travel to survey sites and other offices as needed.
