Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of survey field procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage land survey projects through full project cycle with client contact.
• Produce survey projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Mentor, train and oversee field staff.
• Prepare calculations and project preparation for field crews.
• Schedule field work.
• Produce and implement survey field standards and quality control.
• Recommend field equipment purchases and upgrades for the department.
• Check field work to verify completeness and accuracy.
• On site supervision of field survey projects.
• Assist with recruiting and evaluating new hires.
• Communicate with Leadership and Project Managers on a constant basis.

Education

Professional Land Surveyor licensure (IL) or ability to obtain within 1 year
