Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lead Land and Right of Way Manager to guide land rights work for infrastructure projects across the United States in a hybrid role. You will lead acquisitions, negotiate with landowners, review title records, and coordinate with clients and project teams to deliver compliant, on-time outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in land services, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive experience in right-of-way or land acquisition for infrastructure projects.
• Experience acquiring property rights including easements and fee acquisitions.
• Knowledge of URA/Uniform Act and federal/state requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and client contact.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the acquisition of easements, rights-of-way, and other land rights.
• Negotiate complex land rights agreements with landowners or their representatives.
• Review title records, title commitments, reports, and legal descriptions.
• Coordinate recording of easements and other documents with authorities.
• Represent Land Services at meetings and communicate status and needs.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Lead project planning activities and resource planning.
• Support project changes and client requirements.
