Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Lead Land and Right of Way Manager to oversee easement and land rights for infrastructure projects across the United States.

You will negotiate with landowners, coordinate title research, and lead acquisition efforts within a multidisciplinary team. This hybrid role requires deep knowledge of land services, URA Act principles, and strong client service, with travel across the country.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of progressive experience managing right-of-way, land acquisition, easement acquisition, or related land services for infrastructure projects.
• Experience acquiring property rights including easements, rights-of-way, fee acquisitions, temporary construction easements, and related land interests.
• Strong understanding of right-of-way acquisition principles, title review, land rights documentation, condemnation support, and URA/Uniform Act requirements.
• Experience leading project teams and serving as a primary client contact for land services or right-of-way projects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the acquisition of easements, rights-of-way, and land rights for infrastructure projects.
• Negotiate complex land rights agreements with landowners or their representatives.
• Coordinate title research, title commitments, title reports, and related records.
• Prepare and facilitate execution of documents required for land acquisition activities.
• Represent Land Services at project meetings and communicate status, priorities, and resource needs.
• Maintain accurate project records, property owner files, maps, and exhibits.
• Lead project planning activities including scope, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Support project closeout and lessons learned.
• Contribute to internal process improvements.
