Job summary

Timmons Group in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Land Development Civil Engineering Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead complex residential and commercial sites. You will work with a project team of design engineers to move projects from concept to permit-ready plans.

The role emphasizes design, cost estimating, client communication, and schedule/budget management. Candidates should have PE/L.S license preferred, 6+ years of land development experience, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional licensure (P.E., L.S.) preferred.
• 6+ years of civil engineering experience in residential land development.
• Strong understanding of project accounting and ability to manage multiple budgets/schedules.
• Experience with marketing and supervising technical staff.
• Knowledge of technical/office software to perform essential functions.
• Professional demeanor with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design portions of a project using Civil 3D and related software.
• Perform calculations to solve engineering problems.
• Prepare specifications and source materials; oversee installation and payment aspects.
• Develop design details and complete plan sets.
• Assist in engineering and construction cost estimates.
• Communicate with clients, staff and internal design team.
