Verdantas— Sr. Land Development Engineer

Verdantas is seeking a Sr. Land Development Engineer to support our growing team in Lehigh Valley, PA. In this role you will work with multidisciplinary design teams to manage high-impact site development projects across Pennsylvania and the Mid‑Atlantic region.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the Civil Group Leader with design and project management.
• Perform technical planning and design work for land or site development and, as appropriate, water/natural resources projects.
• Develop site layouts and perform detailed design and grading to ensure efficient, compliant, and build‑ready project sites.
• Perform comprehensive stormwater management design, erosion and sediment control planning, and landscape assessments to support resilient and compliant project development.
• Prepare detailed entrance layout and access design plans that ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site entry and circulation.
• Prepare permit plans for agency/municipal review and complete various land development and environmental permitting applications.
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors.
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications suitable for construction.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
• 7 or more years of experience in land development.
• EIT required (Pennsylvania PE preferred).
• Knowledge of stormwater management, erosion, and sediment control best management practices.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams of engineers and designers.
• Familiarity with Hydro CAD, Hydra Flow, HEC‑RAS, or other stormwater modeling software.
• NPDES permitting knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.

Salary Range

$98,000 - $130,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
