Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Land Design Engineer for its southeast team. The role focuses on civil land development, site design, and multi-disciplinary coordination in a hybrid office setting.

The ideal candidate has 3–8+ years in civil engineering and a BS in Engineering, with PE preferred or obtainable within 6 months. Opportunities span Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC with cross-client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• PE or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
• Experience with civil land development and permitting is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering designs and prepare plans, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Create site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility designs.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers.
