NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Westchester County seeks a Laboratory Technologist for the Central Labs Day shift (8:00am-4:00pm) with rotating weekends. You will perform tests across blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology, ensuring quality control and accurate documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or any health science field
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from NYS Education Department
• ASCP certification preferred; two–three years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and complex tests on clinical specimens across multiple lab areas: blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology.
• Execute quality control procedures, document results, and follow up on out-of-range results.
• Adhere to shift schedule: Day shift 8:00am–4:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays at NYP Westchester in Bronxville.

Conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens in various areas of the laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology. Performs quality control procedures for all tests as dictated by policy and documents all results; follows-up on out of range results.

This is a Full-Time position covering the Day Shift; 8:00am-4:00pm including rotating weekends and holidays. Position is located at NYP Westchester in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.

Competitive sign-on bonus up to $10K :

• New graduates eligible
• Experiential bonus commensurate with experience

Preferred Criteria

• ASCP certification
• Two – Three year experience
