Umicore Market Solutions in Pasadena, CA, is seeking a hands-on Senior Laboratory Technician to support catalyst preparation and laboratory experiments. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, analytical teams and other technicians to prepare samples, conduct experiments, document results, and maintain a safe, organized laboratory.

• Associate degree in chemistry, materials science, process technology, or a related field, or a high school diploma with relevant lab experience.

Mansioni

• Conduct laboratory experiments according to approved procedures and test plans.
• Prepare chemical solutions, catalyst slurries, coated substrates, and catalyst samples.
• Perform weighing, mixing, dispersion, washcoating, impregnation, drying, and calcination.
• Operate laboratory equipment, including balances, mixers, pH meters, pumps, ovens, and furnaces.
• Monitor experiments, identify unusual conditions, and support troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate and traceable records of samples, processing conditions, observations, and results.
• Follow all safety, chemical-handling, waste-disposal, and equipment procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory.
• Collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
