Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Supervisor in Ketchikan, AK, on a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Salary range $117,700–$151,360 with sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance. 5+ years of clinical lab experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology are required; ASCP preferred.

The role includes supervising staff, maintaining quality controls, and ensuring compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology or related field required.
• 5 years clinical lab experience required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the department, distribute work, set priorities and schedule procedures.
• Perform supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring and staff development.
• Conduct advanced/specialized tests and validate results; re-evaluate methodologies as needed.
• QA: monitor quality and adhere to laboratory standards; handle peak workloads.
• Maintain safe, clean lab areas and ensure training/compliance with CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA.
