This role represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients, and offices, while assisting laboratory technical staff with receiving, accessioning, and processing specimens according to laboratory procedures. The position follows established departmental policies and procedures, safety, environmental, and infectious control standards to ensure the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Required Qualifications:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary school, college, or military phlebotomy program.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior phlebotomy experience.
