Job summary

Holtec International is seeking a Senior Labor Relations Specialist to serve as the plant's primary labor relations advisor at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, Michigan. This onsite role handles contract interpretation, grievance handling, discipline, and workforce scheduling for represented employees.

You will lead or support investigations, arbitration prep, and union negotiations, while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and company policy across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR/Labor relations.
• 7+ years of progressive HR/employee or labor relations experience in a unionized environment.
• Experience interpreting and administering collective bargaining agreements and managing grievances, discipline, investigations, and dispute-resolution processes.
• Experience supporting collective bargaining or contract negotiations, including research, proposal preparation, costing, implementation, or bargaining-table participation.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws and ability to apply them in practice.
• Ability to analyze compensation, scheduling, overtime, and premium-pay provisions for operational impact.
