Seyfarth in Los Angeles seeks a Labor & Employment Counsel with 6+ years of plaintiff-side litigation experience to join our LA team. You’ll work with senior attorneys on cutting-edge labor and employment matters and help lead investigations, handbook policy reviews, and evolving California law.

Qualified candidates are admitted in California, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and have a track record at a top law firm.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation defense experience.
• Experience reviewing and updating employee handbooks and policies.
• Ability to handle routine and complex matters with minimal supervision.
• Top law firm experience is preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong analytical and written skills.
• Must be licensed and admitted to practice in California.

Responsibilities

• Work on interesting, challenging labor and employment cases with senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with partners on wage and hour, termination, layoffs, and investigations in California.
• Review and maintain employee handbooks and standalone policies and agreements.
