Franciscan Health in Indiana is seeking an analytically curious Senior Labor Structure and Cost Analyst to join the Compensation Center of Excellence. You will use workforce, financial, productivity, and organizational data to identify trends, investigate variances, and uncover drivers of labor cost.

This role connects data across HR, payroll, finance, and operations to help leaders understand what is happening, why, and where opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related analytical field.
• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related analytical field (preferred).
• 5 years progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, labor cost analytics, workforce analytics, healthcare finance, compensation, productivity analysis, or related analytical field; including experience analyzing complex data sets, integrating information across enterprise systems, and translating findings into business insights.
• Advanced Excel and experience with BI or advanced analytical tools. Experience integrating information from HR, payroll, finance, budgeting, productivity, or workforce management systems.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with ability to come onsite when needed at one of our closest Indiana locations to you

Responsabilités

• Turn data into insight by analyzing wage and labor costs to identify trends, variances, anomalies, and potential root causes.
• Connect compensation, workforce, financial, budget, productivity, vacancy, and organizational data to develop a more complete picture of labor performance.
• Shape smarter workforce structures by evaluating span of control, organizational layers, management ratios, job mix, hierarchy, and other structural measures against benchmarks.
• Dig into labor cost drivers by examining wages, premium labor, overtime, differentials, traveler utilization, staffing mix, vacancies, and budget relationships.
• Build meaningful analytics by developing models, scenarios, dashboards, and repeatable analytical tools for actionable workforce insights.
• Investigate the 'why' to distinguish compensation-related impacts from budget, staffing, productivity, or operational factors.
• Partner across the organization with Compensation leadership and Finance, Productivity, HR, and subject matter experts to validate data and strengthen analysis.
• Support decisions that matter by translating findings into clear visualizations and executive-level materials.
• Help build the future by contributing to an integrated workforce analytics capability within the Compensation Center of Excellence.
