Job summary

Framatome North America is seeking a laboratory analyst to perform physical, chemical, and radiographic analyses, maintain equipment, and ensure quality results. You will handle sample intake, data entry, and reporting while following established procedures and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma with Chemistry, 5+ years of related experience, and strong skills in LIMS, instruments, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with Chemistry courses.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Proficient in Lab Information Management.
• Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and operator aids to ensure quality results.
• Receive samples and input information and test requests into system database.
• Perform physical/chemical/radiographic analysis on materials and products using lab equipment; conduct quality checks and data summaries.
• Prepare and analyze samples per established laboratory practices and procedures.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex test machines and equipment.
• Dispose of samples and waste following strict safety procedures.
• Prioritize samples, plan work sequence, and communicate status and results to manager, chemist, and customers.
