Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Senior Lab Operations Manager to lead the NA CHVAC Laboratories, ensuring high-quality data for product design engineering teams. You will oversee multiple Lab Operations teams, promote safety, and drive continuous improvement across testing activities.

You will recruit, develop, and motivate staff, align lab strategies with business goals, and manage budgets while supporting capital projects to expand capabilities. Travel about 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and at least 8-years of industrial operations or Lab experience is required.
• At least 5-years of people leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote lab safety as the top priority for all staff and visitors.
• Lead multiple Lab Operations teams to improve testing quality and data.
• Develop and implement talent management, training, and recognition programs.
• Coordinate with CHVAC Laboratory leaders to align strategies with business objectives.
• Support lab budgets and capital expenditure projects to enhance capabilities.
• Travel up to ~10% as needed.
