Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related field.
6+ years of industry experience supporting laboratory automation, robotics, or regulated laboratory operations.
Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling systems such as Hamilton, Beckman, Tecan, or similar platforms.
Strong troubleshooting skills for automated instrumentation, software, and laboratory workflows.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for laboratory automation systems, including liquid handlers, robotics, plate readers, and other automated instruments.
Troubleshoot instrument, software, and workflow issues to minimize downtime and improve laboratory performance.
Develop, implement, and optimize automated laboratory methods and processes.
Support instrument qualification, computer system validation (CSV), calibration, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.
Analyze system performance data and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
Train and support laboratory personnel on automated systems and best practices.
Utilize LIMS, ELN, and related laboratory systems to maintain data integrity and compliant documentation.
Author and review SOPs, validation documents, protocols, and technical reports.
Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP/GxP, data integrity, and laboratory safety requirements.
