Job summary

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or closely related field with 6+ years experience.
Experience with SCADA or orchestration software (DeltaV, Ignition, WinCC OA).
Experience with scripting/programming following best practices (version control, design patterns, clean code).
Ability to work independently on cross-functional teams and communicate with end-users, technicians, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Build the digital backbone of automated laboratories by developing SCADA-based solutions that connect equipment, workflows, and data.
Translate scientific workflows into scalable systems by partnering with researchers and automation engineers.
Develop across the technology stack, including back-end architecture, equipment modules, user interfaces, and orchestration logic.
Solve complex integration challenges by applying systems-level thinking across software and lab workflows.
Connect the ecosystem by integrating instruments, automation platforms, and data systems for end-to-end digital workflows.
Continuously improve platform capabilities to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Train and upskill colleagues on SCADA and orchestration capabilities and best practices.
