Job summary
The Brixton Group in Dallas is seeking a hands-on Kubernetes Engineer to build and operate platform services that empower other engineers. You will work on Kubernetes across our infrastructure and collaborate with GPU and accelerator technologies.
This hybrid role combines heavy coding with platform ownership, bare-metal Linux, and on-site collaboration three days per week in Downtown Dallas. Applicants should have deep Kubernetes experience and a proactive, learning mindset.
Qualifications
- Deep, hands-on Kubernetes expertise with platform ownership.
- Strong software development skills and coding experience.
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
- Solid Linux systems and networking foundation.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain Kubernetes platforms and services for internal teams.
- Write code and automation to support platform capabilities; approx. 60% hands-on coding.
- Operate Kubernetes infrastructure running on bare-metal Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and the infra.
- Work with GPU operators and accelerator infrastructure for compute workloads.
- Partner with engineering teams to understand needs and improve the services they use.
