Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to manage the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for the CASA Compute Environment (CCE). You will ensure secure, scalable Kubernetes clusters on a Linux-based platform, delivering reliable, high-performance support for mission-critical government projects.

You will apply Linux CLI, Bash/Python scripting, and containerization experience with Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible to deploy and monitor workloads, troubleshoot issues,

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree.
• Security clearance required: Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
• Position Required Skills: Linux CLI and Linux tools, Bash/Python scripting, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes clusters, Helm Charts, Ansible IaC, Prometheus/Grafana, Git, and networking troubleshooting.
• Position Desired Skills: Atlassian Tool Suite, DevOps with Agile methods, Python REST/microservices development.
• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and provide operational support for the PaaS component of CASA Compute Environment (CCE).
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal Kubernetes cluster performance.
• Support mission-critical government projects with Linux-based infrastructure and containerization technologies.
