Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Principal Kubernetes Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and automate Kubernetes-based platforms for mission-critical workloads. You will lead cluster design, security, and scalable deployment, while enabling development teams with self-service capabilities.

Your deep expertise in IaC, CI/CD, and cloud-native automation will drive reusable patterns across environments and accelerate product delivery in a compliant, secure manner.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience in modern cloud/container platforms.
• Experience architecting and managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS or equivalent).
• Proficiency with IaC, security, and platform automation practices.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking knowledge.
• Git/GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines for container workloads.
• Must hold and maintain DoD 8140 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters with security in mind.
• Manage core Kubernetes services including networking, storage, and RBAC.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads with integrated security.
• Develop automation tools (Python/Go/Bash) to streamline Kubernetes operations.
• Lead and mentor development teams on container orchestration best practices.
