Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) seeks a Kubernetes Platform Architect to define and operate enterprise Kubernetes platforms. You will lead architecture, lifecycle automation, security governance, observability, and multi-cluster strategy to accelerate application delivery and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and decommissioning using Cluster API, establishing GitOps, and driving platform modernization across clusters.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes architecture and lifecycle experience.
• Extensive infra, cloud, or platform engineering background.
• Deep knowledge of cluster provisioning and upgrades.
• Expertise in workload management and storage.
• Strong security, RBAC, and policy enforcement knowledge.
• Proficient in observability and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
• Lead cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling with automation.
• Implement secure, highly available multi-cluster environments.
• Establish GitOps for config management and deployment.
• Drive platform security, RBAC, and secrets governance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform health.
• Plan capacity, scheduling, and resource optimization.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex platform issues.
• Design backup, DR, and business continuity for clusters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud-native apps.
• Provide architectural leadership and mentoring.
