Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a senior networking engineer to own the network architecture of its GPU superclusters. You will manage cluster-wide communication, CNI data planes, and overlay meshes across regions and clouds, driving scalable, secure networking for thousands of nodes.

You will design and operate L7 gateways, VPN topologies, and mesh environments, tackling scale ceilings and complex failures. This role requires strong Linux networking, Go/Python/C skills, and exceptional cross-team

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience; 6+ years in systems, network or infrastructure software engineering.
• Deep command of Kubernetes networking architecture and CNI standards; production experience with Calico preferred.
• Proficiency designing/maintaining modern mesh and VPN topologies (Tailscale, WireGuard).
• Strong Linux networking fundamentals: routing, iptables/nftables, packet marking, namespaces and container runtimes.
• Demonstrated ability to debug distributed network problems at scale with packet capture, tracing, and cross-host analysis.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, C or a comparable systems language.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the network architecture for cluster communication (CNI data plane, overlay mesh, inter-region connections).
• Lead Kubernetes networking for multi-thousand-node GPU clusters.
• Design/operate/scale overlay networks, gateways, and tunnels (Envoy, Cloudflare, VPN topologies).
• Identify scale ceilings and reliability issues; build scale-test environments and validation suites.
• Diagnose hard issues across the stack and correlate symptoms to root causes.
• Collaborate with cloud/neocloud providers on topology and capabilities for new clusters.
• Provide senior technical judgment to a distributed team within the CUDA networking domain.
