We are looking for an experienced Senior Kubernetes Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters on both cloud and bare-metal environments. If you have deep technical expertise in Kubernetes internals, experience with automation & large-scale deployments, and a talent for optimizing infrastructure performance, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across bare-metal and cloud environments.
• Scale Kubernetes clusters to handle 50,000+ pods and 2,000+ nodes efficiently.
• Customize and fine-tune Kubernetes components, including controller-manager, scheduler, and Calico CNI, to optimize performance and reliability.
• Evaluate, analyze, and present trade-offs for scaling, cost, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Work with on-premise Kubernetes platforms such as Rancher, OpenShift, and EKS Anywhere.
• Implement and optimize monitoring solutions using tools like New Relic and Prometheus .
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve infrastructure automation and CI / CD pipelines.

Requirements :

• 4-8 years of experience working with Kubernetes on both cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Strong experience in large-scale Kubernetes deployments and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, and security best practices.
• Experience with on-prem Kubernetes solutions like Rancher, OpenShift, or EKS Anywhere.
• Good to have : Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana .
• Ability to assess trade-offs and make informed decisions on scaling cost-efficiency, and disaster recovery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Kubernetes Certifications ( CKA ) or AWS certifications.
• Experience with high-performance networking and security in Kubernetes clusters .
• Background in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering .
• Familiarity with container runtime optimizations and service meshes.
