Job summary

IPSecure is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, containerized applications onsite in San Antonio, TX. This role requires TS/SCI eligibility and collaborates with DevOps to implement robust cloud-native solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Kubernetes experience, deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, IaC tooling, and production-grade systems, enabling reliable, scalable infrastructure across environments.

Qualifications

10 years of software development experience with production-grade systems.
5 years hands-on Kubernetes experience including deployment, orchestration, and cluster management.
Proficient in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes networking, DNS, ingress, and load balancing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, containerized apps within Kubernetes environments.
Author and maintain Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets).
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based applications.
Diagnose and resolve deployment, infra, and runtime issues in Kubernetes clusters.
Monitor health and resource use with Prometheus, Grafana, and similar tools.
