Job summary

A leading cloud solutions provider is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Cloud Engineer to support mission-critical systems requiring TS/SCI clearance. This role involves leading technical decisions in AWS environments, mentoring engineers, and ensuring production readiness of cloud systems. Responsibilities include managing EKS clusters, designing network security, and using observability tools such as CloudWatch and Prometheus. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Kubernetes, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication abilities, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Must have current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
• Fourteen years of engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical leader for Kubernetes and AWS cloud engineering.
• Mentor and support a team of engineers.
• Build and manage Amazon EKS clusters.
• Design secure and efficient EKS networking.
• Manage sensitive data using AWS Secrets Manager.
• Set up logging with CloudWatch and monitoring with Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call support rotations.
