Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Tampa, FL seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to lead architecture and deployment strategies for containerized workloads. You will design scalable, highly available Kubernetes environments and drive GitOps workflows with ArgoCD/Flux.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Systems/DevOps, strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), and expertise in Helm, CI/CD, and IaC tools, with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Systems Engineering/DevOps/Platform Engineering, with 2+ years in containerized environments.
• Deep hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments (scaling, RBAC, CNI, CSI).
• Experience designing deployments with Helm and GitOps controllers (ArgoCD/Flux).
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and managed Kubernetes offerings.
• Scripting/automation proficiency in Python/Go/Bash.
• Solid Linux administration, TCP/IP networking, DNS, and load balancing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and execution of deployment strategies for containerized apps on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps and security to ensure high availability and scalable infrastructure.
• Develop deployment topologies, champion GitOps, and address distributed system challenges.
• Design deployment strategies for microservices and monoliths, ensuring secure, scalable operations.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with blue-green, canary, and rolling updates.
