Job summary

Hash House a Go Go Las Vegas is seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen functions, including purchasing, preparation, quality control, sanitation, and staff training.

You will ensure recipes and standards are followed, manage labor scheduling with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager, and uphold safety and cleanliness across the kitchen. Five years of varied kitchen experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience across varied kitchen positions (prep, line cook, fry cook, expediter).
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen and dining staff, and guests.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Stand for long periods in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all foods are prepared to recipes and standards, portions, and presentation.
• Assist with hiring decisions and supervise kitchen staff as needed.
• Provide orientation on rules, policies, and safety training.
• Supervise training of new kitchen employees and ensure cleanliness.
• Monitor food costs, waste, and proper storage procedures.
