The candidate will work with Kafka, Terraform, and AWS services, plus monitoring tools to maintain reliable data pipelines. 6–10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 6–10 years of general engineering or development experience.
• Hybrid workstyle with in-office presence 10–12 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Confluent Schema Registry.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) on AWS.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Linux Virtual Machines for supporting Kafka Connect.
• Some experience in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Spark Streaming or Apache Flink knowledge is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Familiar with SRE concepts and monitoring/observability tools.
