Job summary

Euclid Innovations is seeking a Senior Kafka Engineer to design and lead large-scale data streaming platforms. You will work across Java/Spring Boot services, Kafka ecosystems, and cloud-enabled deployments to ensure robust, scalable event-driven systems in a hybrid environment with 3 days on-site.

The role demands deep expertise in Kafka, distributed systems, and financial services contexts, plus strong leadership and communication to guide teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
• Strong experience with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, scalability, and high availability.
• Experience with Capital Markets, Trading, Investment Banking, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
