Job summary

The Maryland Judiciary is seeking a Senior Judiciary Clerk for the Calvert County Circuit Court in Prince Frederick, MD. This full-time, non-exempt role supports Civil, Juvenile, and Foreclosure processes, handles filings, docketing, and courtroom money handling.

Responsibilities include assisting the public, maintaining case records in MDEC/Odyssey, preparing docket sheets, and supporting courtroom operations in Juvenile Delinquent and CINA proceedings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years' experience, including at least one year in court operations or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal-related substitutions may substitute experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain civil, juvenile, and foreclosure case records.
• Assist customers at the counter, by phone, or in court.
• Prepare docket sheets and courtroom for Juvenile/CINA proceedings.
• Receive and account for court monies using a cash register.
• Serve as Courtroom Clerk for Juvenile Delinquent and CINA proceedings.
• Maintain case files in Odyssey and integrate with MDEC.
