Job summary

Amteck, a national Electrical Design-Build contractor, is hiring experienced electricians for opportunities in Price, Utah. You will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit, devices, panels and feeders while reading blueprints and project specs.

The role requires 5–7 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience and a safety-minded, team-oriented approach. Amteck offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in electrical construction in commercial/industrial environments
• Able to use required tools per company policy to perform tasks
• Demonstrate Amteck Way in daily work activities, behavior and decision making
• Able to work project schedules, including weekends and overtime
• Interest and aptitude to learn job-related material on the job
• Demonstrate a team-player mentality: listen, follow directions, cooperate, and work safely
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic construction documents
• Willingness to participate in field training (OJT, classroom, or virtual)

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and benders
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, branch circuits, and feeders
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuiting
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics
• Lay out small work areas from drawings including underground layouts
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on site
