Job summary

Amteck is hiring experienced electricians for our Electrical Service division in Price, Utah. Join a national design-build contractor renowned for safety and customer satisfaction, and contribute to commercial/industrial electrical construction projects.

You will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit and electrical devices, reading blueprints and project docs while mentoring Helpers and Apprentices on site.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Demonstrate the Amteck Way in daily work activities, behavior, and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and hand or mechanical benders.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, branch circuit, and feeder conductors.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of circuiting.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out small areas of work from electrical drawings and project documents, including underground layout.
• Correctly determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
