GE Vernova is seeking a Welding/Joining Engineer to develop and deploy joining, brazing, and furnace heat treatment processes for gas turbine repair. You will work hands‑on, qualify processes, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Repair Engineering, Quality, and Operations to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in Welding, Brazing process development.
• Experience qualifying welding or joining processes for production or repair manufacturing.
• Experience with laser cladding development & operations.
• Knowledge of machining, automation, surface preparation processes.

Aufgaben

• Execute the development, qualification, and implementation of joining, brazing, and furnace heat treatment processes to support gas turbine repair applications.
• Apply technical discipline and analytical thinking to solve straightforward welding and brazing process challenges.
• Collaborate with Repairs Value Stream teams to deliver process solutions meeting quality, volume, and timeliness standards.
• Support industrialization and deployment of processes from validation through production integration.
• Perform programming and process optimization for joining and welding platforms.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure processes align with standard practices.
• Draft technical documentation, process specifications, and qualification plans.
