GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Welding/Joining Engineer to advance joining, brazing, and furnace heat treatment processes for gas turbine repairs. The role emphasizes hands-on development, qualification, and deployment in a global manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Repair Engineering, Quality, and Operations to meet standards, drive continuous improvement, and document specifications that support scalable production and repair activities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in Welding, Brazing process development.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the development, qualification, and implementation of joining, brazing, and furnace heat treatment processes to support gas turbine repair applications.
• Apply technical discipline and analytical thinking to solve straightforward welding and brazing process challenges.
• Collaborate with Repairs Value Stream teams to deliver process solutions meeting quality, volume, and timeliness standards.
• Support industrialization and deployment of processes from validation through to production integration.
• Perform programming and process optimization for joining and welding platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure processes align with standard practices.
• Assist in integration of machining, surface prep, and automation to enhance joining performance.
• Draft technical documentation, process specs, and qualification plans under guidelines.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and continuous improvement of repair processes.
• Act as an informal resource to build capability within the team.
