Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Job Captain to oversee and lead the design and documentation of K-12 educational projects with a focus on DSA compliance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for enhancing educational environments through innovative architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and documentation process for K-12 projects, ensuring compliance with DSA regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
• Review and provide feedback on designs, drawings, and specifications to maintain high standards of quality.
• Mentor and guide junior staff in best practices for architectural design and documentation.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed architectural plans and presentations.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and documentation, specifically within K-12 education projects.
• Registered Architect (AIA) preferred, with NCARB certification.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of DSA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
