Job summary

PAVOI seeks a Product Developer to own the jewelry development cycle from brief to production-ready, coordinating contract designers and guiding costing decisions. You’ll work closely with our Production Coordinator and report to the Head of Product, making decisive calls to keep projects moving.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in jewelry product development and a strong sense for margin, pricing, and vendor negotiations. This is a fast-paced role with accountability and growth opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of jewelry product development, buying or merchandising experience.
• Experience briefing and managing contract or freelance design talent.
• Ability to read design sketches, redline tech packs, and justify design decisions.
• Understanding landed cost, gross margin, and factory negotiations.
• Proven track record owning end-to-end development calendars with milestones.
• Commercial mindset: evaluate product by sales and margin, not only aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end jewelry development calendar from brief to production-ready.
• Direct 1-3 contract designers on a seasonal cadence, ensuring brand alignment and on-time delivery.
• Make independent first-pass costing decisions aligned with margin targets.
• Approve or kill samples at review stages without escalations for routine decisions.
• Serve as primary development coordinator with internal and external production partners.
• Identify blockers early, surface recommendations with escalations.
