Job summary

Prolific is seeking a JavaScript Specialist for AI training to review and improve AI-generated code. You’ll evaluate JavaScript/TypeScript for correctness, audit logic, and run tests in Node or browser environments.

Expect tasks that pay up to $50/hour and a fast 10- to 15-minute skill test if invited to join as a participant from home. Required are strong JS/TypeScript skills, experience building scalable web apps, and deep knowledge of the Event Loop, closures, and async patterns.

Qualifications

• Education: a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field.
• Professional Experience: building scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Coding Proficiency: solve LeetCode Medium to Hard-level problems in JavaScript.
• Deep Domain Knowledge: understand Event Loop, closures, prototypical inheritance, async patterns.
• Code Quality: clean, modular, readable code following ES6+ standards.
• Attention to Detail: spot memory leaks, XSS, or prototype pollution in model code.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Code Accuracy: review AI-generated JavaScript/TypeScript code for correctness.
• Validate Logic & Reasoning: audit explanations for algorithmic solutions for soundness.
• Conduct Execution Testing: run scripts in Node.js or browser consoles to verify output.
• Annotate Model Performance: identify inefficiencies or deprecated methods in solutions.
• Refine Technical Logic: provide feedback on frontend/backend architecture discussions.
