Job summary

Ness is seeking a seasoned Engineering Lead to drive full lifecycle development of enterprise-grade software in a fast-paced environment in New Jersey, USA. You will guide architecture, mentor teams, and ensure delivery of value through modern Java/J2EE, Spring, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-based solutions.

You will collaborate with onsite and offsite teams, perform design reviews, and steer adoption of best practices across CI/CD, DevOps, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience as Engineering/Technical lead or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise-grade software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business value through application development and enhancements.
• Guide technical direction and architecture decisions.
• Mentor and lead development teams through design, estimation, and testing.
• Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams on PI, product, and release planning.
• Perform code reviews and promote best practices in the team.
