Job summary

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience developing in Java technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Gradle, Microservices architecture, REST, Java 1.8, Spark.
• Experience with NoSQL Cassandra and SQL Oracle.
• Spark programming – nice to have.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins and related build/deploy tools.
• Ecommerce/Retail experience – nice to have.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise level, high-volume web applications using Java and JEE.
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to the Java development teams.
• Design solutions, develop, implement, maintain and support Java components and interfaces.
• Lead project teams of Java/J2EE/Spring/Spark/Database developers, mentoring and architecting.
• Participate in design discussions with product management and dev teams.
• Contribute to evaluation, prototyping and selection of software solutions.
• Apply Test Driven Development practices and quality measurement tools.
• Coordinate with QA, DevOps, Infra, SRE for a stable development environment.
• Work with Product/Business teams to understand business needs and create technical solutions.
