Job summary

A leading technology company is looking for a Java SRE Engineer to support large-scale cloud migrations and production systems on AWS and Kubernetes. You will lead migrations, design robust AWS EKS platforms, and implement deployment strategies. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in Cloud/DevOps/SRE, strong hands-on skills with AWS and Kubernetes, and is adept in Infrastructure as Code. Additional responsibilities include mentoring team members and collaborating with various teams to ensure reliability. This position is onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux systems, and Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Proven experience supporting production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale migrations of business-critical applications to AWS and Kubernetes.
• Design and operate production-grade AWS EKS platforms.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment strategies.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
