Job summary

Hudson Manpower Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, and PrimeVue to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native enterprise applications.

The role requires full-stack capabilities and an interest in AI-assisted software development. You will work across complex applications, implement CI/CD pipelines, and apply AI tools to improve productivity, testing, and code quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong front-end development experience using Vue.js and PrimeVue.
• Full-stack development with backend services, APIs, and modern UIs.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools in professional software engineering workflows.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hybrid work in Cincinnati, Ohio with two onsite days per week.
• No sponsorship required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, and PrimeVue.
• Build and support backend services, REST APIs, and reusable front-end components.
• Work across complex enterprise applications, multiple programming languages, and architectures.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, testing, debugging, and code quality.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to establish software design standards and best practices.
• Participate in pair programming, TDD, and XP practices.
• Develop automated unit tests, acceptance tests, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues using logs, metrics, and diagnostics.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Support cloud-native apps running on Azure, Kubernetes, or Tanzu.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and improvements.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and estimate development efforts.
