Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to support a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians.

You will work primarily in Java within an Agile team, contributing to data capture, approvals, and secure data movement across the customer mission space. The role requires 20 years of software engineering experience and a technical Bachelor's degree (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).

• 20 years of experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• 4 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree

Responsibilities

• Supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians.
• The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner.
• These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools.
• Candidate will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary language.
• The development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the team.
• This position will allow an advanced developer to broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces.
