Job summary
Enlighten is a cutting-edge technology company focused on software solutions for government and commercial clients. We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based capabilities, working with AI agents and collaborating closely with a talented team.
In this role you will stay up to date with modern tools and technologies and contribute to high-quality software solutions for our clients.
Qualifications
- Active Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance required.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava).
- Experience designing enterprise APIs, RESTful services, and microservices.
- Solid OOP, agile lifecycle experience, and Linux command line familiarity.
- Hybrid Work: on-site Fort Meade, MD 1 day/week and Columbia, MD 1 day/week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Java-based software capabilities for computer-based systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Stay current with latest developments and employ AI agents in daily workflows.
- Guide AI agents through complex architectures, ensure security and performance.
