Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a skilled software engineer to join a mission-focused team developing user-friendly, scalable applications for national security clients. You will design, implement, and maintain software solutions, collaborating across teams to deliver integrated systems and customizable features that support critical government missions.

Required are 6+ years of software engineering experience, strong Java/Spring core knowledge, Git proficiency, and experience with MySQL or SQL

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in software engineering or software development
Experience with Java and core Spring framework ecosystem tools such as Spring Boot and Spring MVC
Experience using Git for version control and software configuration management tools and processes to ensure code integrity
Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, T-SQL, or SQL Server, and tools such as TOAD, for database management
Experience with Agile methodologies and Waterfall
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, or IT
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification, or SSCP Certification

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise-wide systems and application software
Research, design, develop, and modify software for client solutions
Collaborate with team to build integrated solutions from scratch and implement customizable features
