Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer – Developer to join the Advanced Ground Architecture team. The role involves leading multi-tier software development for space vehicle control and distributed computing, using Java, ReactJS, Python, CI/CD, and agile processes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java/C++/Angular or ReactJS, strong Linux/Windows experience, and the ability to work with system/test engineers to deliver robust software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and active Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of proven experience with Java, C++, Angular/ReactJS, HTML, and CSS languages.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in conjunction with agile team leadership including participation at agile events.
• Assist in the execution of DevSecOps processes to deliver software baseline on sprint boundaries.
• Participate in PI planning as an agile team member.
• Engage with users and other engineers to determine solutions to technical issues.
• Coordinate the development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
• Lead activities to develop, document and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Debug and lead resolution of issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Lead handling of user inquiries, troubleshooting and feedback analysis.
