Job summary

Rocket Financial Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java/AI-Enabled) to lead backend development and contribute to frontend work as needed. You will build scalable Java-based services, design robust architectures, and leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery.

The role is fully remote with a flexible East Coast-aligned schedule and opportunities to work with modern tech and AI-enabled development practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus in Java.
• Experience with Spring, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Comfortable across the stack (React/TypeScript or similar).
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, etc.).
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, and AWS.
