Job summary

Talent Groups is seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Developer to join an Agile product team building enterprise applications.

You will design and implement Java applications with Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud tooling, apply TDD, and leverage AI-assisted tools to speed testing and quality while delivering secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• 7+ years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong experience designing and developing applications using microservices architecture.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and a strong focus on software quality.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience with or openness to AI assisted development workflows to support testing, code quality, and software delivery.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

This role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Test Driven Development, cloud technologies, automated testing, and modern AI assisted software development practices. The ideal candidate will use AI assisted development tools to support testing, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery while maintaining ownership of secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
