Job summary

Callibrity, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Software Consultant for remote work aligned to US Eastern/Central hours. You will lead strategic technical direction, mentor teams, and engage with client stakeholders to demonstrate ROI through greenfield, modern tech stacks.

The role emphasizes Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and TDD practices, with opportunities to work on cloud, AI, ML, and IoT initiatives across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven or similar tooling.
• Experience with SQL and modern JS frameworks (Angular/React) and Spring Boot.
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and lead strategic technical direction.
• Interact with client stakeholders to prove ROI through innovative solutions.
• Mentor and upskill Callibrity peers and client teams.
• Solve a wide variety of problems using scalable technology stacks.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Identify challenges early and recommend the best solutions.
• Demonstrate mastery of software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, TDD).
• Explore new tech including AI, ML, Cloud, and IoT; collaborate across teams.
• Be a dependable, senior resource admired by clients regardless of title.
