Job summary

Knowledge Builders Inc in New York State is seeking a Software Architect to lead Java development for the NYSE-CON project, providing technical leadership and high-level design decisions.

You will design multi-system interactions, create specifications, and drive development, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced environment. This role requires extensive OOAD experience and strong Java/Spring expertise, based in Albany/NYC area.

Qualifications

• 84 Months of experience in object oriented analysis and design (OOAD) using Java.
• 84 Months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and developing procedures/packages.
• 60 Months of experience using the Spring MVC framework.
• 24 Months of experience using the Struts framework.
• 24 Months of experience using JavaScript frameworks.
• 12 Months of experience building responsive web applications.
• 12 Months of experience developing Java web services (REST/SOAP).
• 12 Months of experience using CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design system architecture and models detailing interactions between multiple systems.
• Develop or modify technical and design specifications, technical writing and documentation.
• Develop web pages and user interfaces.
• Software development and deployment tasks including coding, testing, and implementation.
